Dreams Get Lost

"Alles fing bei meiner Arbeit an. Ich fahre alte Dampflokomotiven zum Hobby. Eigentlich bin ich Privatdedektiv und arbeite an komplizierten Fällen. Doch Dampflokomotiven fahren beruhigt mich und ist so nostalgisch. Da muss man auch immer Kohle nachwerfen und es wird heiss und russig im Führerhaus. Nun einmal warf ich zuviel Kohle in den Feuerofen und es wurde vor lauter Rauch schwarz in der Kabine. Das erweckte bei mir ein fürchterliches Unbehagen und mir wurde fast schwarz vor Augen. Doch dieser Moment dauerte nicht lange und schon war die Sicht im Führerhaus wieder besser,, die Luft Sauerstoff gesättigter und der Rauch verabschiedete sich von seiner hartnäckigen Phase. Ich tuckerte also drauflos Richtung Süden. Wohin genau sag ich euch noch."

"It all started with my work. I drive old steam locomotives as a hobby. I'm actually a private detective and work on complicated cases. But driving steam locomotives calms me down and is so nostalgic. You always have to add more coal, and it gets hot and sooty in the cab. One time, I threw too much coal into the furnace, and the cabin went black with smoke. This made me feel terribly uneasy and I almost blacked out. But that moment didn't last long, and the visibility in the cab improved, the air was more saturated with oxygen, and the smoke disappeared from its persistent phase. So I chugged off south. I'll tell you exactly where."
